obsessed with mason jars.

i feel like mason jars have been popping up all over the place lately - and i love it.

i see them everywhere, from wedding props, to kitchenware, to living room decor. i've been slowly collecting them and have been mostly using them in the kitchen, like in the picture below!

breakfast on the balcony. orange juice in mason jars!

a while back i blogged about this special treat and have not been able to get it off my mind. clearly i love s'mores, but for the fourth of july i decided to tweak the recipe a bit while still using mason jars!

i wanted to make something fun and not too heavy for dessert after the fireworks. and of course i had to make something red, white, and blue! so i went for a parfait-like treat and kept festive with the colors, using strawberries, blueberries, and fat-free cool whip. for the base i crumbled up graham crackers and then added a layer of cool whip and topped it with a layer of srawberries and blueberries. i repeated the process until i reached the top. it was so refreshing and so easy! i highly recommend!

what you'll need:
2 mason jars
8 graham crackers
1 container of fat-free cool whip
strawberries
blueberries

Mason jars are so adorable. I wish I could find them here in the UK ... I want to drink pretty summery drinks out of them!
