happy monday! how was your daylight savings weekend? i'm writing this post on sunday night and even though it's only 8:30, i'm probably going to be in bed in the next 30 minutes. daylight savings always messes with me! ugh, i'm an old lady.
anywho, this past weekend was super busy. i started my first photography class on saturday morning which i'm so excited about! boyfriend got me a set of four classes at a studio in dc and i already learned so much about my camera. boyfriend did good this year ;)
my parents were in town this weekend so once my class was over we drove out to my brothers and spent time with the fam. it was a blast. nothing beats family time. saturday night boyfriend and i snuggled on the couch with some pumpkin pie and watched the movie, "v for vendetta". it was awesome! i didn't think i would like it, but gosh - natalie portman is amazing. i.want.to.be.her. even with a shaved head.
we woke up early on sunday to have a delicious homemade brunch with the boyfriend's family and then i drove back out to my brothers to bid farewell to the parents. i completely forgot to take my iphone with me (my iphone is actually my work phone. you would never catch me without my personal phone), so here are some pictures from last monday. boyfriend and i walked to georgetown to watch the halloween parade (we went to the famous stairs from the exorcist - spoooooky - and strolled by georgetown cupcake and there was no line! NO LINE! i've never seen that before so i had to take a picture. notice the security guard - can i have his job? guarding cupcakes. not too shabby).
we weren't sure what time the parade started, so after 2 hours with nothing happening we headed home (good thing we did, because 10 minutes later there was a shooting! so scary!)
