see the world.

{via}

i've been following this quote for as long as i can remember.
if i could i would quit my job and spend a year travelling the world,
i mean, who wouldn't?
but the responsible and realistic person inside of me
knows that cannot happen
(at least any time soon).
travelling feeds my soul
and makes me feel alive.

i've been lucky to have already seen some pretty cool places
and i've learned so much from those trips.
whether it's been a big trip to europe,
or a weekend vacation to new orleans,
it doesn't matter how big or small the place.

i've been able to meet interesting people,
eat amazing cuisine,
and immerse myself in the different cultures.
there is so much a history book can teach you about a place,
but when you see it with your own eyes
there is no greater learning experience.

Great quote! And so true. I daydream of traveling the world. One trip at a time:)

Visiting from Story of My Life and your newest follower.

Cheers,

Great quote! I too love traveling and think we can learn so much from it and our experiences. And I hope you are able to save and travel the world one day!!! I've known a few people who buckled down and did it since it was their dream, and there are absolutely no regrets there whatsoever.

I just found your blog through the Blog Every Day in May Challenge.

I love to travel and think this quote is a great one! I hope to have a life where I can travel not only once a year, but MANY TIMES! :)
